'The Wall' de Pink Floyd

The Wall is one magic piece of music where the line between songs is completely un-noticeable. The fact, that I have heard only some songs of this album before, put the album completely out of context. This album is simple beautiful. Lyrically and musically is a delightful piece of art. I am surprised how many sounds and details I have missed from previous listen. For instance, it is the first time I realized the phone sounds between many songs. There are many layers of music, sounds and stories to be discovered.  This time, I notice how smart the tracks 'Another brick on the wall part #' are located on various sections of the album.  Also, I like how some songs reappears in other parts of the albums, like 'In the flesh'. Without any doubt, it was a magical experience to listen this album from start to finish.
After listening the album again paying special attention to the lyrics, I realized why this is called a concept album. In CD  1 Pink Floyd describes some elements that help to build the wall (a kid raised without the parent, an overprotective mother and a running away wife).  In Disk 2, the band portraits the sad feeling inside the wall and the last two songs dramatically express breaking the wall and the weird emotions outside it. I will listen to this album many times and see the movie again.

The Wall

I listened to this album again in preparation for the ‘The Wall Live’ Concert by Roger Waters.  The concert was amazing. I think this is one of the best concerts I have ever seen. The band played all the songs on the same order as the album while a wall was built on the stage. At the end of the concert the wall was destroyed. The videos projected on the wall during the concert included modern elements that help to build the wall. Here are some pictures and videos from this concert.
